Ben's Story:

Benjamin Cote, 8 years old, died peacefully holding the hands of his mother and father on Friday morning, September 7, 2007, in his home.

For two years, Ben bravely battled and conquered cancer several times, never giving up the hope that he would get better. At an early age, Ben touched the lives of many people, inspiring them to be better, braver and more purposeful in their own lives. A love of animals drove his strong interest in and dedication to veterinary medicine - a career he aspired to have one day. Consequently, Ben's family established
a veterinary scholarship in his name at the Morris Animal Foundation.
